On October 3, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred at a home in Edgewater, Florida, resulting in the death of 40-year-old Monica Robarge. The incident was reported around 5:10 p.m. when deputies from the Volusia County Sheriff's Office responded to a call at a residence off Liza Clinton Road.

Upon arrival, deputies found Monica Robarge fatally shot. Despite attempts by Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to save her, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
