On March 30, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred at an illegal gambling club located on Stratford Avenue in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Richard Davis, a 30-year-old resident of Bridgeport, was one of the two men who died in the incident. Davis, along with Tayvon Geter, 32, also from Bridgeport, were found outside the club suffering from gunshot wounds when officers responded to the scene around 11 p.m..
