James Bitner, a 56-year-old resident of Black Hawk, Colorado, was identified as the victim of a homicide after his body was discovered near Mirror Lake in the Snowy Range of Wyoming. The body was found wrapped in multiple layers of blankets and tarps, secured with ratchet straps, an electrical cord, and several types of ropes, on July 4, 2024.
