In the early morning hours of a Tuesday in June, the typical sounds of a bustling casino town were shattered by a single gunshot. Inside a room at the Isle Hotel and Casino in Black Hawk, Colorado, a young man's life was tragically cut short. Tony Velasquez, a 26-year-old male from Thornton, was found deceased with a gunshot wound to his head.
