In the early hours of a Sunday morning in Denver, Colorado, a burst of gunfire shattered the quiet of the Goldsmith neighborhood. When the violence subsided, 42-year-old Cordell Pratt, a man known for his ambition and inspiring presence, had been fatally wounded. The incident, which occurred around 12:30 a.m. on March 10, 2024, in the 4700 block of East Evans Avenue, also left another individual hospitalized, marking it as a double shooting.
