On March 15, 2024, Theresa Burke, a 24-year-old woman from Aurora, Colorado, was fatally shot at a condominium complex in the 14600 block of East Second Avenue. The incident occurred early in the morning, around 3 a.m., when police responded to reports of a shooting.
