In the early morning hours of September 29, 2024, a shooting shattered the quiet of an Aurora, Colorado neighborhood, claiming the life of a young man. Kii Ahmean Fironate Young-ike, a 20-year-old Black/African American male, was in the 1700 block of Boston Street when the incident occurred at approximately 3:30 a.m. In the immediate aftermath, despite his injuries, Young-ike managed to drive himself to a nearby hospital.
