In the late summer of 2023, the life of 28-year-old Takyrra Nicole Scott, a female resident of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, was tragically cut short. On Sunday, September 17th, the quiet of a neighborhood was shattered by the sound of gunfire. When police arrived at the scene, they discovered a grim tableau. Ms. Scott was found inside her vehicle, having sustained gunshot wounds to her head and hand. Nearby, lying on the ground with a gun in his hand, was 25-year-old Deandre Thomas.
