In the early hours of April 21, 2024, the life of 18-year-old Kohnali Hunt of Caruthersville, Missouri, was tragically cut short. The young Black man was found with gunshot wounds in Blytheville, Arkansas, in the 100 block of South Division Street at approximately 1:20 a.m. First responders rushed him to Great River Medical Center, and he was subsequently transferred to Regional One in Memphis, Tennessee, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
