On April 21, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred in Blytheville, Arkansas, resulting in the death of 18-year-old Kohnali Hunt from Caruthersville, Missouri. The incident took place at around 1:20 a.m. in the 100 block of South Division Street, where officers responding to the shooting found Kohnali Hunt with gunshot wounds.

Hunt was initially taken to Great River Medical Center before being transferred to Regional One in Memphis, Tennessee, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
