In the early morning hours of Saturday, June 8, 2024, the quiet of a Princeton, West Virginia neighborhood was broken by an act of violence that claimed the life of 52-year-old Shaileshbhai Patel. Known to some as "Sam," Patel, a male of Middle Eastern/Arab descent, was discovered by Princeton Police officers who were responding to a report of a possible shooting at approximately 1:00 a.m. at a residence located at 417 Kee Street, in the vicinity of North McNutt Avenue.
