Seth Michael Egelhoff, a 26-year-old resident of Chesterfield, Illinois, passed away on November 11, 2023, while participating in a waterfowl hunting trip at the Bays Branch Wildlife Area near Panora, Iowa. During the hunt, Egelhoff was accidentally shot in the face by a member of his own hunting party.
