Dan Marburger, the 56-year-old principal of Perry High School in Perry, Iowa, did not die on January 4, 2024, but rather 10 days later. He succumbed to his injuries on January 14, 2024, at UnityPoint Health - Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.
