Ahmir Jolliff, an 11-year-old sixth-grade student at Perry Middle School in Perry, Iowa, tragically lost his life on January 4, 2024, in a school shooting incident. The shooting occurred in the cafeteria, a shared space between Perry's middle and high schools, before classes began.
