On a cold February evening in Cedar Falls, Iowa, a dispute between two groups tragically escalated, ending the life of 19-year-old Authur Craig Lang, a Black/African American male from Clear Lake. The fatal encounter unfolded on February 6, 2022, when an argument erupted between individuals in a vehicle and a group of pedestrians.
