In the spring of 2023, the life of Brittany Shuree Sutherland Collier, a 37-year-old Black/African American woman, was tragically cut short in what Tucson police have described as a murder-suicide. On the evening of Friday, April 21st, officers were dispatched to a residence on the east side of Tucson, Arizona, where they discovered a scene of violence that had claimed two lives.
