On September 24, 2023, a deadly shooting occurred in Apache Junction, Arizona, resulting in the death of 66-year-old Fredrick Bevington. The incident began when Apache Junction police officers responded to a report of a shooting involving two men at approximately 1:15 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Bevington with obvious gunshot wounds to the head area.
