Gilbert Joseph "Gibby" Hale, born on August 3, 1974, in Lorain, Ohio, was the son of Sandra "Sandy" (Delk) Hale Jordan and the late Gilbert Hale. He pursued a career as a tractor-trailer hauler until an injury in 2011 led him to transition into work as a certified diesel mechanic. Known for his mechanical skills and vibrant personality, Gibby was a cherished member of his community.
