Leroy Eugene “Lightning Leroy” Colomy, born on December 2, 1940, in Bangor, Maine, met his demise on July 9, 2014, in Tombstone, Arizona. Colomy had a diverse career, spending most of his adult life in construction and also serving as a park ranger in the Sierra Nevada mountains of California, a role he greatly enjoyed.
