In the late summer of 2015 in Casa Grande, Arizona, a domestic dispute escalated into a tragedy that ended the life of 34-year-old Jesse Rodriguez. On the evening of Sunday, September 27th, police responded to a call at a local residence. Upon arrival, they discovered Mr. Rodriguez with a fatal gunshot wound to his chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation into the shooting quickly focused on 26-year-old Audra Jarrett, who was identified as the mother of Jesse
Rodriguez's child. Detectives determined that a fight had broken out between the couple inside the home shortly before the fatal shot was fired. The couple's 5-year-old child was present at the residence at the time of the incident but was unharmed and subsequently placed in the care of a family member.
