On July 1, 2016, a tragic incident occurred in Marana, Arizona, resulting in the deaths of three individuals, including Jeanette Hernandez. Jeanette Hernandez, aged 52, was one of the victims in a double murder-suicide.

The perpetrator of the incident was Darius Solis, a 23-year-old man who was the son of another victim, Ana Solis. Darius Solis used a handgun to kill his mother, Ana Solis, who was 46 years old, and his aunt, Jeanette Hernandez, before turning the gun on himself.
