In what was described as the first homicide in Marana, Arizona in 2016, 46-year-old Ana Solis was found shot to death in a home on North Iron Ridge Drive. The tragic event, which unfolded on Friday, July 1, 2016, also claimed the life of Solis's sister, 52-year-old Jeanette Hernandez. A family member discovered the bodies and alerted the authorities by calling 911.
