On February 18, 2017, Lori Peeples, a 62-year-old female whose ethnicity was not publicly specified, was found dead inside the home she shared with her adult son in the Sun Lakes area near Chandler, Arizona. Deputies from the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office were sent to the residence on Michigan Avenue around midday after a concerned family member requested a welfare check because they had been unable to reach anyone at the home.
