Brian Harris, a 44-year-old security guard at a Motel 6 in Phoenix, Arizona, tragically lost his life on June 5, 2016, during a violent crime spree. The incident began when 28-year-old Daterryn McBride opened fire in the motel lobby, killing Harris and another guest, 44-year-old Robert Sykes. In addition to these fatalities, two other people were shot and injured, including a 25-year-old Motel 6 employee who survived the attack.
