On October 23, 2017, John Norton Sr., a 59-year-old resident of Tonopah, Arizona, was fatally shot in the kitchen of his home. The incident involved his 15-year-old daughter, Jocelyn Nicole Norton, and her boyfriend, Daniel Robert Stroh, who was 21 years old at the time.
