In the summer of 2023, a sense of unease settled over a small community in Ouachita County, Arkansas, with the disappearance of 70-year-old Johnny Ray Strong. On July 19, Mr. Strong, a Black male standing six feet tall and weighing around 160 pounds, with a bald head and brown eyes, was last seen in the vicinity of 1335 Ouachita 95, an area northwest of Bearden.
