On November 24, 2017, Steve Steenhard, a 51-year-old resident of Yuma, Arizona, was fatally shot by an officer of the Yuma Police Department. The incident occurred during a response to a domestic violence call at Steenhard's residence located in the 3500 block of W. 12th Place.
