Clarissa Medina, a 24-year-old mother from Somerton, Arizona, was tragically shot and killed on January 3, 2018. The incident occurred in a parking plaza at the intersection of Main Street and Bingham Avenue, where Medina and another individual, 22-year-old Hugo Ponce Verdugo, were found with gunshot wounds. Verdugo was seriously injured and hospitalized in critical condition at a Phoenix area hospital.
