Jay Michael Freeman, a 66-year-old resident of Prescott, Arizona, passed away on June 21, 2018. He was born on November 6, 1951.

Freeman's death was the result of a homicide. The investigation led to the arrest of Sharalyn Stura, a 57-year-old woman from Prescott, who was held on suspicion of first-degree murder in connection with Freeman's death. Stura allegedly attempted to cover up the crime by faking her own kidnapping.
