In the quiet community of Fountain Hills, Arizona, the life of 36-year-old John Kimmel was tragically cut short in a violent encounter. On the night of August 4, 2018, inside a room at the Centerstone Plaza Hotel, Kimmel was fatally shot. The incident was quickly identified by the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office as a case of domestic violence. At the scene, deputies found and detained a single suspect, Kimmel's 27-year-old ex-wife, Jeannette Kimmel.
