On August 4, 2018, a fatal shooting occurred at the Centerstone Plaza Hotel in Fountain Hills, Arizona. The victim, identified as 36-year-old John Kimmel, was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident happened around midnight when the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call reporting the shooting.
