In the summer of 2019, a night out in Fountain Hills, Arizona, turned tragic for 28-year-old Matthew Dylan Gilmore. The incident, which unfolded late on Thursday, July 11, 2019, began inside Bruno's Bar and Grill. An encounter between Gilmore and another man, Christopher Charles Ruether, escalated from a conversation to a heated verbal and physical altercation.
