Jessica Mae Orozco, a 31-year-old Native American woman of Navajo descent, was a dedicated botanist and a loving single mother to her adopted nephew. Her life was tragically cut short on the night of October 27, 2018, in Golden Valley, Arizona. Jessica had been celebrating her nephew's birthday and was taking one of his friends home.
