Angel Perez, a 25-year-old resident of Chino Valley, Arizona, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 30, 2019. He was born on September 9, 1993, to Patricia Elena Amezquita.

The incident occurred while Angel Perez and his friend, Jose Cruz, also 25 and from Chino Valley, were engaging in target shooting. The event took place on a Forest Service road just north of Paulden, Arizona. During this activity, they were using AR-15 rifles.
