In the quiet city of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, a domestic tragedy unfolded that ended the life of 42-year-old Keri L. Malkiewicz. On the evening of August 29, 2019, concerns grew for Keri when she failed to return home after going to a residence on Green Acres Drive to retrieve some of her personal belongings. This led to a welfare check request to the Lake Havasu City Police Department at approximately 10:20 p.m.
