In the spring of 2020, the community of Scottsdale, Arizona, was shaken by a tragedy that unfolded in the peaceful surroundings of Cholla Park. On April 28th, 50-year-old Tammy Welch, a White/Caucasian female, was fatally shot while she sat in her vehicle. The incident, which occurred around 2 p.m., was determined by Scottsdale police to be a murder-suicide.
