In the early morning hours of August 16, 2020, the life of 30-year-old Thomas Garcia, a Hispanic male, was tragically cut short in Phoenix, Arizona. The events of that fateful Sunday began to unfold around 5:00 a.m. when police responded to a call about a shooting. They discovered Garcia near McDowell Road and 12th Street, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal.
