In the quiet evening of June 21, 2021, in Sierra Vista, Arizona, a confrontation between two men escalated, leaving one of them, 23-year-old Luis Armenta Rivas, dead from multiple gunshot wounds. The events of that night unfolded at an apartment complex where Jesus E. Loreto Jr. lived with his girlfriend and their young daughter.
