On February 17, 2022, a tragic incident occurred in Glendale, Arizona, resulting in the death of 7-year-old Latreese Deveann Moten, affectionately known as 'Lay Lay.' Latreese was fatally shot in a drive-by shooting. At the time of the incident, she was with her family, including her 5-year-old sister, whom she protectively shielded from the bullets.
