On March 7, 2023, at approximately 2:02 am, a fatal shooting occurred at an apartment complex located at 10800 West Olive Avenue in Peoria, Arizona. The victim, identified as 21-year-old Zakee Amir Shelton from Tolleson, was found outside the apartment by responding officers. Shelton had been shot and was pronounced dead at the scene.
