On July 24, 2023, in Casa Grande, Arizona, firefighters responded to a blaze at a residence on North Brown Avenue. Upon arrival, they observed an individual fleeing the scene and discovered human remains burning in a 55-gallon metal barrel. The remains were later identified as those of 57-year-old Thomas Chase.

Approximately 30 minutes later, Thomas's son, 32-year-old Christopher Chase, contacted 911, admitting to disposing of a body by burning it and fleeing when firefighters arrived. ...Read More
