In a quiet Tolleson neighborhood, the morning of Sunday, August 27, 2023, was shattered by the sound of gunfire. When police arrived at the scene near 91st Avenue and Van Buren Street, just south of Tolleson High School, they discovered a man lying in the driveway of a home, suffering from a gunshot wound.
