On October 8, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred near a bus stop in Mesa, Arizona, resulting in the death of 52-year-old Michelle Flippin. The incident happened around 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of Center Street and McKellips Road. Flippin was found unresponsive near the bus stop and was pronounced dead at the scene.
