In the early hours of September 27, 2020, Terrell Taylor, 27, male, was found shot to death on a quiet North Omaha block near North 49th and Pinkney Streets. Police were dispatched around 3:04 a.m. for reports of shots fired and discovered him at the scene, the second fatal shooting the city confronted before dawn that Sunday. Just hours earlier, officers had responded to an unrelated homicide across town, underscoring the tense, sleepless night that framed Taylorï s final moments.
