On November 20, 2021, a tragic incident occurred at DJ's Dugout, located at 777 N 114th Street in Omaha, Nebraska. At approximately 11:30 PM, the Omaha Police Department responded to reports of a shooting at the bar. The incident resulted in the death of 20-year-old Demetrius Johnson and left another individual injured.
