In the summer of 2018, a dispute at the Carvel Gardens Apartments in Laurel, Delaware, tragically cut short the life of 18-year-old Trevor McClements of Seaford. On the night of Monday, July 9th, Laurel Police and Delaware State Police troopers responded to a report of a shooting in the vicinity of the 200 building of the apartment complex. Upon their arrival just before 11:45 p.m., they discovered McClements on the ground with a gunshot wound to his head.
