On November 21, 2020, at approximately 11:44 PM, the Middletown Police Department responded to a reported shooting at the intersection of New Street and Cole Boulevard in Middletown, Delaware. Upon arrival, officers discovered 32-year-old Hakeem Evans lying in the roadway with gunshot wounds. Despite prompt medical attention, Evans succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
