Death by Force

A 32-year-old Black man, Hakeem Evans of Middletown, Delaware, was shot late on the night of November 21, 2020. Middletown Police were dispatched at about 11:44 pm to the intersection of New Street and Cole Boulevard in response to reports of a shooting. When officers arrived, they discovered Evans lying in the roadway suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite emergency efforts, Evans died at the scene.
