Aaron Moore, 22, male, was shot during the early hours of June 27, 2021, when a pool party on Louis Court in Newark’s Salem Woods neighborhood erupted into gunfire. Officers responding around 1 a.m. found a chaotic scene with three people hit; Moore was rushed from the street to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Two other victims—a 17-year-old and a 19-year-old—were hospitalized in stable condition.
