A 43‑year‑old Black man from Wilmington, Delaware found himself at the center of a tragedy that would leave a community shaken. On September 23, 2021, Jamar Warren, age 43, was fatally wounded in a shooting in Wilmington. The man of that age, gender, and ethnicity was confirmed to have lost his life to gun violence on that date.
