On August 4, 2024, 22-year-old Alondra Quinonez of Wilmington, Delaware, was fatally shot in a residence on Limestone Road. The suspect, 57-year-old Francisco Vasquez of Milford, Delaware, forcibly entered the home, which belonged to his ex-wife, and opened fire on the occupants. Quinonez sustained a fatal gunshot wound, while a 20-year-old male present escaped unharmed.
