On February 3, 2020, a tragic series of shootings occurred in Washington County, Maine, resulting in the deaths of three individuals, including 33-year-old Samuel Powers of Jonesboro. The perpetrator, 63-year-old Thomas Bonfanti from Northfield, was arrested and charged with murder following the incidents.
