On February 3, 2020, a tragic series of shootings occurred in Washington County, Maine, resulting in the deaths of three individuals, including 49-year-old Jennifer Dawn Bryant Flynn of Machias. The perpetrator, 63-year-old Thomas Bonfanti from Northfield, targeted four victims across different locations in Machias and Jonesboro.
